The existing office building, constructed in 1970’s is operated by Maryland Department of Natural Resources located in Princess Anne, Maryland. The design team worked closely with Department of Natural Resources to achieve a modern office building that accommodates a growing staff, who manages 3000+ Acres in Somerset County. The project includes the removal and new construction of pole barn and a secure storage facility. Site challenges include storm water management and preservation of existing pin Oak trees. The building was designed to include a number of sustainable features including roof top solar panels.
